At All Moves UK Ltd, we make sure health and safety remains an absolute priority at all times. Since the very start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have made significant changes to the way our business operates, adopting new procedures, safeguards and technology to help keep our customers and staff as safe as possible.
We recognise the fear and uncertainty felt my many in the current climate and understand this can prove particularly stressful when trying to move house. With this in mind, we have outlined the measures our company has taken to help minimise risk during the removals process.
Virtual Quotations / Site Assessments
Available for domestic and commercial customers alike, we offer virtual quotations and site assessments conducted by video call. These have proved particularly popular with customers, enabling them to walk from room to room with their mobile phones whilst talking to our experts over the speaker. This enables our estimating teams to ask questions about a particular item or piece of furniture, whilst taking notes on the amount and size of the potential removal job.
In-Person Quotations With Full PPE
When preferred by our customers (and when allowed by law), we still offer in-person quotations and assessments where appropriate. Our Estimator will arrive alone, with mask, gloves and visor to conduct the quotation. A safe distance will be maintained at all times and we request that all windows and doors remain open to keep the property as ventilated as possible during the visit.
Any discussions and advice about the quote will be conducted outside of the property with a minimum of 2 metres distance observed.
Removal Teams Equipped With PPE
As with our Estimators, our removal teams have been equipped with masks and additional PPE and have also been restructured to minimise the number of persons conducting a move. Our teams have been trained on the importance of keeping their masks and gloves on at all times, conducting each removal job in a safe and efficient manner.
Covid-19 “Fogging Machines”
With safety of paramount importance, we have invested in Covid-19 “Fogging” Machines which dispense a mist that is harmless to humans but eradicates Covid-19 particles and germs. These transportable machines are used in our own offices and storage facilities, as well as our removal vehicles to minimise the risk of infection. In addition to this, we can also bring the machines to our customers’ properties to conduct a thorough “deep clean” and “sanitisation” of their new home for added peace of mind.
